Boxcar Waterfall Bench (No. 23)

Description

Well-worn and heavily distressed, we crafted this simple bench from a single section of boxcar flooring. It’s designed to look like a single continuous piece wrapping from floor on one side to the other end – simple, but so very interesting. The original construction binding the individual boards together is slabbed tongue-and-groove hickory boards. Still visible on the front edge are the aluminum tiloc rods used to construct the flooring.
